IIB at the 11th BIZIT conference

Another BIZIT, the eleventh in a row, was held on November 6 and 7 at the “Metropol Palace” hotel in Belgrade. The CEO of the IIB, Miloš Bošnjak, gave an interesting lecture with the unusual title “That BUT that spoils the happiness”, and this conference was an opportunity to meet again with friends and partners, and to discuss the current events and changes that await us in the upcoming period …

The first day of the conference, which began on November 6 at 9 a.m., was marked by lectures, mostly dedicated to business software solutions. After the introductory greetings and an interesting lecture by Prof. dr. Dejan Šoškić, the program was continued and Miloš Bošnjak held a lecture “That BUT that spoils the happiness”. The lecture was about challenges during the implementation of ERP solutions and potential dangers that can occur in this process, from the implementer’s point of view, and from the user’s point of view, how to prevent and overcome them… This was a “shortened version” of the topic. which is covered in detail in his author’s text, published in the latest issue of PC Press magazine. Miloš continued with a story about the challenges faced by companies and users during the implementation of the electronic invoicing system: SEF. After this, lectures continued, and we had the opportunity to socialize with users, friends and partners at the IIB info desk. The second day of the conference, on November 7, is devoted to solutions related to security, IT infrastructure and data centers. We heard a lot of interesting topics and made a lot of new acquaintances.

We are satisfied with this year’s performance, and we will conclude that our hosts from the company “PC Press” organized another excellent conference. We will try our best to organize an even better performance next year, and since in 2025 we have a jubilee: 35 years since foundation, this will be an occasion to remember some dear events and people…
