The 16th “ERP meetings” are over! This year, we gathered at the “Planinka” hotel in Kuršumlijska Banja, from May 16 to 18, and about 150 participants attended our summit. Good people, good weather and enjoying the natural beauty of this health resort and recreation center will remain in our fond memories. Below you can read how this year’s meeting went…
The gathering began on May 16 in the afternoon. After the participants settled down, had dinner and rested from the journey, the now traditional IIB quiz was held. Four teams competed in knowledge, and the best were crowned with the glory of the winner. Those who did not find the questions difficult can freely apply to participate in the “Chase” quiz! The official program began on May 17 at 10 a.m. After the opening of the meeting, Branko Đaković, our well-known marketing expert, gave a lecture entitled “Who doesn’t understand us and why”. The focus of the lecture was on subcultures in the organization that are formed independently of the organizational structure and how to adapt communication to each of the listeners in order to understand us equally well. In the following, Miloš Bošnjak, director of IIB, held a lecture on UPIS and its extensions. After a short break, Zoran Lazarevic from the company “DM Document Management” spoke about the importance of eArchive in modern business, after which Miloš gave another lecture about UPIS news and interesting projects. After a coffee break, Nebojša Ostojić gave a lecture entitled “Breakdown of costs and cost price calculation”, and Mirko Smolić spoke about topics related to the electronic invoicing system (SEF). Its latest functionalities and their implementation in UPIS ERP are discussed. This was followed by a raffle, lunch, and time to go for a short walk or swim in the pools, socialize… The festive dinner started after 9 p.m., and the party with good food, drinks and a rich music program lasted until late at night. In the morning, after checking out of the hotel, there was a trip to Đavolja town. This is a place of miraculous energy, a natural phenomenon that is located about an hour’s drive from the hotel and consists of 202 stone figures that were created by water and wind erosion. The trip, from which we carry rich impressions, was also a way to say goodbye, until the next ERP meetings.
We tried to be good hosts, and we hope that next year we will be even better and that we will gather in even greater numbers. Thank you for the nice time, see you at the 17th ERP meetings!
