Another ERP meetings just finished, the 15th so far. This year, from May 25 to 27, we gathered at the “Kraljevi čardaci” hotel on Kopaonik. The gathering was attended by around 160 clients, employees, partners and family members. We tried again this year to be good hosts, and the general impression is that we succeeded in that and we are all already looking forward to the next gathering…
The summit began on May 25, after dinner. After the official opening, Mirko Smolić and Miloš Bošnjak briefly presented our experiences regarding the implementation of e-Invoices. Since this is still a very current topic, it was followed with great attention by all participants. After a short break, the IIB quiz followed. The contestants showed great knowledge, but in the end it was the skill of “bocce” that prevailed in an otherwise equal competition.
On the second day, May 26, we started with a lecture by our distinguished guest dr. Miodrag Zec. In the lecture, which was called “To socialism and back”, he briefly described the shortcomings of our previous social system, referred to the missed opportunities, but also pointed out what we should do to make things better in the future. Then Mirko Smolić and Nenad Nikolić held a lecture on the UPIS business intelligence solution UPIS.API, followed by “UPIS notice” as a brief overview of several existing and new UPIS functionalities. After the coffee break, there was a lecture on the solution for monitoring and managing production in real time UPIS.MES, which was given by Nebojša Ostojić and Miloš Bošnjak. Then we watched a recording of a lecture from the BIZIT 2016 conference by our dear colleague Srđan Đorđević, who passed away and left us too soon a few months ago. Srđan then spoke about the relationship between consultants and users, and highlighted good examples of how to improve communication between them. At the end of this block, Miloš Bošnjak and Aleksandar Mageroski gave a lecture on the new application for personnel records, which facilitates the entry of requests for annual vacations and daily carnets. After lunch, Miloš Bošnjak and Miroslav Kaličanin introduced us to the new (Android) WMS application. Then our colleagues from the ASBIS company spoke about the sales program intended for business users. The last lecture at the 15th ERP meetings was given by Slavko Vujnović. He spoke about business and artificial intelligence, with reference to the application using Microsoft technologies. When the lectures ended, some of the participants enjoyed themselves in the Spa Center, some socialized over coffee, and one group went on an organized walk along the “Four Benches” trail, where they had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and natural beauty of Kopaonik. At the end of the day, a festive dinner was held with a raffle and a music program, and the party lasted until late at night.
On the last day of the meeting, May 27, after breakfast and check-out from the hotel, an excursion to the location of “Jankove Bare” was organized. After the trip, the participants went home with good impressions and with the desire to get together again, for some new ERP meetings.
