11th ERP meetings are over. This year we have gathered from 27 to 28 May on mountain Divčibare. Sunny weather, beautiful nature, interesting lectures and socializing have contributed, according to the assessment of the participants, another successful meeting.
First day of the event, after registering and opening began with a lecture on business culture and communication. Branka Margan introduced us to the difference between personal and business culture, rules of conduct at the meeting, during a telephone conversation, when writing a business letter … Further, she was talking about communication and especially, through practical examples, highlighted the importance of the proper use of the Serbian language . This was followed by a lecture of Miloš Bošnjak and Zoran Lazarević about importance of software for business process management (BPM). We have shown how, by applying solutions loboTalk, different software solutions can successfully work together. After lunch Nenad Nikolić and Dušan Radosavljević presented PowerBI and subject of lecture was integration of this latest “self-service” business intelligence tools with UPIS.API BI solution. Participants were able to see for themselves how to easily create excellent reports.
After the lecture we organized a competition in orienteering. Participants were first introduced to the schedule and tasks. Then the competition started. After initial walk most of competitors finished their track running. At checkpoints they solved puzzles, threw a bow and arrow, fired from an air gun … General impression is that the competition was so much fun that the course was not too heavy and that we should organize such event once again! The best was the team “Thirties”, our partners from the company Key-IT, second place was taken by IIB team “Jelica”, and the third was the team with original name “Sherpas” – pots in Serbian (guys from the company Metalac, pots manufacurer). The best teams won the prizes that will hopefully inspire them to live more naturally. The day ended with a festive dinner and a prize game, a party lasted until late at night.
The second day of the event started with a lecture by Srđan Đorđević with an interesting title: “Good morning, the Serbian”. Srđan, in the manner of Zoran Kesić, famous Serbian stand-up comedian, brought us to tears of laughter. He pointed the importance of clear and accurate communication to solve problems quickly and efficiently, to the satisfaction of both “involved” sides. This was followed by a lecture by Vesna Kuzeljević of planning procurement for production purposes, as well as lecture of Jelena Jakovac-Čolić about cost analytics in transport of goods. The set ended with a lecture by Dejan Pervulov. He talked about SQL Server 2016 and its new features regarding work with historical data.
We hope we have again met your expectations, although we believe there is always room to be even better. This time next year we’ll meet again somewhere in nature, far away from the city. See you at the 12th ERP meetings!
